🪲 Meet Simone Lange — Chief Beetle, Brewer & Bubbly Alchemist 🍹✨

 

Simone is the founder, flavor whisperer & fearless leader of Buzzed Beetle Brewery.

​

Before launching BBB, she spent over 25 years capturing moments behind the lens — taking photos of schools, sports teams & the iconic Anchorage Aces. But it was home brewing that reignited her love for chemistry, creativity & a good bit of fizz.

​

Her seltzer experiments weren’t just tasty — they were free of that artificial aftertaste found in so many store-bought drinks. Her creations? Crisp. Clean. Wildly inventive.

​

🌿 On hikes, Simone kept seeing Fireweed and Dandelions. Most people just walk past them. Simone thought, “Can I ferment that?” (Answer: Yes.)

Her first Fireweed wine was a hit. The Dandelion version? Light, bright, and floral. From there, Buzzed Beetle started to take flight.

​

🧪 Today, BBB is a full-blown hard seltzer brewery — but that’s not all we do.

💥 We also make gourmet sodas that are anything but ordinary — think lilac & blueberry,  spruce tip, and more. These bold, botanical bubbles are perfect for mixing, sipping, or turning into float flights (yes, really).

🚫 We’re not ditching the mocktails.
While waiting on our alcohol license, we dove deep into booze-free brilliance — and it stuck. Mocktails give us room to play, to push boundaries, and to serve everyone, no matter what’s in your glass.
